Japan Open 2008

Our Datuk Lee Chong Wei put up another poor performance in the Final of the Japan Open 2008 yesterday. This time he lost to Indonesia's Sony Dwi Kuncoro. He had on Saturday convincingly won his semi-final match where he toyed with Jaochim Perrson from Denmark. And after watching that semi-final match, I was quite convinced that he would defend the title that he won last year. But he lost without putting much of a fight especially in the second game where he lost 21-10 after trailing 13-4 at one stage. If you had watched the match, you would agree with me that he hardly smashed when his smashes were so lethal. Wonder if that was the strategy he had with Misbun. Sigh!!!! Malaysian badminton. One day they are good, the next day they play like small boys.
