This a picture of Sunway Lagoon taken from Sunway Hotel & Spa where I attended a Budget Seminar co-organised by Horwath and RHB Bank yesterday. Nothing to shout about in the Budget for 2009 announced by Bodowi on the 29th August 2008. The whole seminar focused on withholding and sales and service tax. Nothing much concerning personal tax except if your chargeable income is in the highest tax bracket of 28%, it has been reduced to 27%. This is only a maximum savings of only RM150. If you are earning so much already, what is RM150? Real Bodowi. Also, I don't understand why Bodowi bothered announcing that you don't have to pay for electricity if your electric bill is below RM20. Where got household with dwellers incur electric below RM20. Haiyo! No wonder people call him Bodowi.Anyway it was in the news that petrol may go down another 15 sen before Hari Raya.
