Happy Birthday Ee Hann

Ee Hann pre-celebrated her 3rd Birthday last Thursday. Her Birthday falls on last Saturday. It was a simple affair with satay, sambal sotong, and friend yee mee. We celebrated early because Poh Poh came from Kuantan and had to leave on Friday. Also at the Birthday Party was Mah Mah and Yeh Yeh (paternal grandparents) and Ee Hann's babysitter and husband.

Nilai Springs' EGM

Nilai Springs had an EGM today to increase its share capital as part of the requirement by Bank Pembangunan whom NSB is taking an RM25 million from, to finance the construction of a 180 rooms Hotel Resort at Nilai Springs Golf and Country Club.

The EGM was chaired by Dato KH Gan (Datuk Alladin was not able to chair it as he was having a bad flu) and as admitted Dato himself, it was the shortest EGM he has ever attended. It was over in less than 5 minutes after the resolution was passed.

As usual the refreshment after the EGM was Mee Mamak, Curry Puff, Sandwiches, IchiKabin Chicken and Kuih Koci. So what's new?

Same Product Different Prices

I was at the Post Office in Giant, Nilai, to collect my RM625 rebate this afternoon. My queue number was 2143 (go buy 4D tomorrow!), and the number being serve at that moment was 2117. So off I went to Giant hypermarket to kill time. I actually wanted to buy a bottle of after shave and to my dismay they sold out the brand that I have been using. So I went across to the Guardian Pharmacy but they also did not have what I wanted. So I looked at an alternative which I decided to buy, priced at RM22.90. When the cashier scanned the product a different price popped up, RM25.90. I said the label at the rack clearly RM22.90 and so we went and double checked together and I was right it was RM22.90. RM25.90 was for a different fragrant. Sigh!!! Why so many prices for the same product when the only difference is the fragrance. I have been wondering about this for a long time. Other examples of products with different prices for different fragrances are like Listerine and Eversoft facial cleanser. If the difference is only 10 sen or 20 sen ok lah. This one until a few dollars. Ridiculous lah! So the next time you go to the supermarket, look at the prices for Listerine. The disparity can be up to RM4!

After that fiasco in Guardian, I went back to the Post Office and there were 3 numbers before me. When my turn came, I got my rebate in less than 2 minutes. I only needed to produce my IC and thumbprinted my left thumb. Yes! Yes! I am RM625 richer.

Food Poison At The Office

As a token of appreciation for the gift that we had bought for her, Jesse Lim, our IT administrator, bought the whole office pre-packed Nasi Lemak Rendang Ayam yesterday. It was very tasty indeed.

When I came to the office this morning, I found out that almost everybody who had the nasi lemak was having diarrhea or stomach upset. I thought nothing of it last evening when I had stomach pains and had to go to the toilet last evening and at 6am this morning as I usually had this kind of symptoms after nasi lemak or laksa.

There were a few casualties who had to take MC this morning and the office toilets were well occupied today.

Roslina's Farewell

We had a farewell lunch for Roslina (in tudung) last Thursday (Friday was her last day) at Secret Recipe, Nilai. Paul was supposed to be in picture but as usual lah, he is always the last one to arrive so we left him out.

Everyone had the RM10 set meal which is currently on offer until 6th August 2008. The set consist of a chicken steak with rice and salad and a glass of iced lemon tea. I wanted to exchange the rice with fries which I had done before but the waiter said that for this promotion I was not allowed to do so. The set meal was not bad at all actually. So go try it if you had not.

On top of that we also ordered 5 pieces of cake and yours truly was the MPN of the day as everyone was too full to take in anymore. Didn't get to have a look at the bill because Ms Low foot the bill.

Seminar at Berjaya Times Square

This picture was taken at Berjaya Times Square where I attended a seminar of Credit Management today. It was my first time there and I must say the only thing that impressed me was the theme park. I don't think it's a good place for shopping in terms of variety. The first 3 or 4 floors were stilll okay with shops selling branded apparels but the floors above that sells stuff for teeny boppers and all that stuff lah.

Sea-Monkeys at 5 weeks old

This what the sea monkeys looks like at 4 weeks old. They are constantly swimming around and it's difficult to take a still picture of them. The first batch of about 7 to 8 died after one week but these ones started hatching again the following days.

MyKai

What did I tell you? My wife got the "Yim Kuk Kai" on the evening of the day that I blogged about it (Tuesday). Very "Fai Sau" (Fast Hand) man. The chicken was wrapped and cooked in layers of tracing paper. The chicken looked so good but I did not try it because I just did not have the appetite and was still so exhausted with diarrhea then.

This is what's inside the box

Taaadaaa!

The price for each bird is RM20.

Ayam Garam

I spotted this shop when I was having my breakfast on Sunday. It was located just right across the road where I was having my breakfast. According to my wife, this shop is a branch of the ever famous Salted Chicken in Ipoh. Initially we wanted to give it a try but decided against it because I was dead sick and didn't have the appetite. Will definitely try it by this week. Even if I don't, I'm definitely sure my wife would.

This shop is located just right next door to the Tai Tee cake house along Jalan Rahang. The phone numbers are all in the picture

All these Sodomy and Anal Sex is sickening!

Woke up in the wee hours of Sunday morning and felt my whole body feverish with body aches. The aches were akin to being beaten up by somebody. I had to stay in bed the whole day. What a way to spend Sunday. Then diarrhea struck late Sunday evening and I am still purging up to this moment even with medication taken. I have never felt so sick since the time when I was in bed the whole day in 2001 for dizziness. Then, I could not even sit up as when I sat up the whole world would be spinning.

I think I am sick as a result of reading all these crap in the newspaper these past week about somebody sodomising somebody and someone denying any linking with a particular woman whom he had anal intercourse with. And some chicken shit who retracted his SD barely 24 hours of making it. Haiyo! When is all these going to stop? And can we get on with our lives? And above all these, that Bodowi is not saying anything at all. Understandable lah, must be sleeping again.

And as I was just wondering what happened to the no confidence motion, it came out in the papers this morning that the SAPP fellas are not going ahead with the motion as yet because they do not want to be blamed if the country's democracy was derailed through unconstitutional means.

I was also wondering why that Baginda Fler is not saying anything or nobody has gone to him for comments after all the implications in the first SD.

Enough of all these crap not worth my time blogging about!

Ant Hill

Does it look yucky? Nope it's not a piece of S**t but it's an ant hill which cropped up at my office's car park area.
